Job Summary:
As an AI Engineer at Pragma-IoT, you will be actively involved in designing, developing, and deploying AI and Machine Learning solutions, including GenAI applications, across diverse business domains. You will work on both classical ML projects and advanced AI initiatives, leveraging Python and state-of-the-art ML frameworks. Operating in a collaborative Agile environment, you’ll partner with data scientists, cloud engineers, and project managers to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance AI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and GenAI solutions across a variety of business domains.
- Work on both traditional ML projects and advanced GenAI initiatives.
- Participate in fine-tuning, evaluating, and monitoring AI/ML models, ensuring optimal performance.
- Contribute to prompt engineering efforts and AI model optimization strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Machine Learning, MLOps, and GenAI tools and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Software Development
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience
- Knowledge and interest in AI/ML, both in classical ML processes & algorithms (e.g. xgboost, dimensionality reduction, data exploration) and Deep Learning (e.g. CNN, Transformers)
- Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Solid Python skills and familiarity with ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy)
- Strong problem solving & analytical skills, quick comprehension
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
Additional Skills:
- Experience with LiteRT, TensorFlow Lite, or other lightweight inference frameworks
- Experience with Cloud Computing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML model training, deployment, and scaling
- Background in C or C++ programming
